A really essential part of music history here. Screamin' Jay was the original "shock rocker." Back in the 50s when his recording career began his shows were considered risque. He inspired many shock rockers to come including Alice Cooper, The Cramps, and Marylin Manson. This was his biggest hit and has been covered many times by performers like Nina Simone and CCR.
