U2- Another Day

This is a forgotten gem from the band in 1979. U2's first single released only in Ireland off the band's little known EP U2 "Three." Sounds great and includes a slideshow of old-school band pictures.

U2- The Fool

Here's another little taste. This is U2 at it's rawest live on Irish public TV. These guys just plain rocked back in the 70s damn. Just listen the the raw proper guitar rock riff the Edge has goin' on in the opening of the song. This song is mixed with some interviews. They look like the Bay City Rollers for hell's sake.

U2- Street Mission

Here's a little taste of what U2 sounded like during the 70s when they were still playing in bars in Ireland. They look and sound so different from they're later stadium rock days. Just look and The Edge, he actually is playing proper guitar instead of the delay ridden rockers which became his trademark in the bands later releases. This song is from 1978.

U2- I Will Follow

Great song from this very influential irish band's major label debut "Boy." Anything from early U2 is special because over time lead singer Bono really fell in love with himself in his message of world peace in such a way that it clutters the band's later recordings such as "How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb." This video was shot back in the day when these guys were just out to rock joints writing songs themed more on love and relationships compared to later work where they are preaching about world peace.

Primus- Too Many Puppies

Very weird little song from the inventive Primus off of they're debut album "Frizzle Fry." This is also one of they're first music videos. Frontman Les Claypool is ripping it up on the bass as usuall, as you watch the video, be sure to check out the style Les uses when he plays, it's a highly original mix of finger picking and slapping and the fact that he usually plays a fretless bass while singing earns this man a place as one of alternative rocks true greats.

Primus- Lacquer Head

Keep on sniffin till your brain goes pop.

Ben Harper- Ground on Down

Thats Mr. Harper to you.

ZZ Top- Legs

She's got legs alright. And they got beards, probably the coolest beards in rock history next to Zakk Wylde. The funny thing is that the only guy in the band who dosen't have a beard is the lead singer and his name is John Beard.

The Black Keys- Grow So Ugly

"Grown So Ugly" live @ Grimey's Records Nashville TN

Jon Spencer Blues Explosion- Wail

Great video off the album "Now I Got Worry."
