This ultra-low budget horror film from 1962 is about death and the un-dead. A young girl is in a car accident during a drag race and the car falls into the water. She is the only survivor and is so distressed that she leaves town to work in a church in another city. There is something very wrong though, someone is following her, a mysterious man with a pale white face. Her paranoia slowly causes the young woman to loose control. Who is this man and what does he want? What really happend the day of the crash? The answer awaits you.
This is one of the best horror/gore films of all time. Pretty much the grossest film I've ever seen. And it's directed by Peter Jackson who is better known for the "Lord of the Rings" film trillogy and "Heavenly Creatures."
Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland on acid.
