Roger Miller- King of the Road

My own personal theme song. And this is just about the coolest music video I have ever seen.

Some guy covering one of my uncle's song Cumberland Road

My uncle John Scott Sherril was just inducted into the Country Rock Hall of Fame last year. Now most of the time I hate country music with passion, but hey it's my uncle and I'm gonna promote the shit outta his music, (plus the song is pretty sick when its being sung by a proper musician instead of some shmuch.) The country band Shennandoa does the original cover version, if interested check it out. Other artists that have coverd my uncle include Peter Wolf of the J. Geils Band, Patty Loveless, and Josh Turner.

Johnny Cash- Ring of Fire (Live)

The man in black. This is so badass, love the horns. Johnny Cash country legend live in 1963. Before his recent death this guy was still a music rebel covering songs from several random bands such as Nine Inch Nails and Soundgarden if you can believe it.

Johnny Cash- I Walk the Line (Live)

Johnny Cash live in 1959. Back in the 50s this guys was the most rebelious of all his peers/contemporaries, performers like Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis Prestly could not hold a candle to this man and his depth in my opinion. This was back when rock n' roll was still a baby. This is also considered country music and there is not a lot of other country music I will listen to so that makes this man something special.
