A few rare clips from Andre Segovia's master class in Spain in 1965. Andre Segovia is widely considered the greatest classical guitarist of all time.

From the legendary "Pet Sounds" album. Pretty much the most "American" band of all time. This was just before Brian Wilson went nuts.

From the hit series "Martin Scorsese Presentes the Blues." This clip shows the contrast between old school blues and modern blues and how the songs are usually interchangable between male and female vocalists and how the soul of this great style of music has gone untarnished in this foul year of our Lord 2008. The first clip is from 1965.

With guitar hero Jeff Beck on lead. This song was also featured in the soundtrack for the film "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas."

This band is really something special for guitarists. The band started out with the mighty riff master Jimmy Page of latter Led Zeppelin fame (who actually plays bass in this song) then moved onto blues guitar god Eric Clapton of latter Cream fame. And THEN the Yardbirds had Jeff Beck. Pretty amazing lineup. This is the Yardbirds live in France in 1966.
