This was the sound of teenage rebellion back in the day. Compare this with today's youthful angst music like Korn. That's John Entwhistle on ripping it up on the bass guitar.

Wes Montomery- Nica's Dream (Live)

Wes Montgomery is accompanied by a group of young Dutch musicians, probably all still in their early twenties. Although unknown in the larger part of the world these are Pim Jacobs piano, his younger brother Ruud on bass and drummer Han Bennink. They can compete with the best in that larger part of that world. "Wes" Montgomery (1923 - 1968) Montgomery is often considered the greatest of modern Jazz guitarists. This is Wes live in 1965.

The Small Faces- Itchycoo Park (Live)

"What did you do there?" "I Got Higghhhhhh."

The Moody Blues - Nights in White Satin (Live)

This could easily be a metaphore for the KKK. Live in Paris 1967.
