1973 Motown Time Capsule Video featuring the song Living for the City by Stevie Wonder. One of Stevie's more socially concious songs.
1975 Motown time capsule video featuring the song Boogie on reggae woman by Stevie Wonder. One of my personal favorites.
The legend Stevie Wonder singing and playing the harmonica live as a teenager. That's soul legend Marvin Gaye on the drums. What the Christ happend to black music?
This was sort of a comeback on the charts for the 15 year old kid. Jeff Beck was one of many who musicians were impressed by this genius in the early 70's and said that "music seems to come out of his ass". The video gets cut off a little at the end but I want you to know "everything is alright."
Pretty much the greatest song by the artist with one of the most memorable hooks of all time, it just never grows old. This is my man Stevie with the band in the studio circa 1973. I also included a version of the same song recoded live on Sesame Street, if that's not the pimpest thing a performer can do I don't know what is.
